Angela Schmidt (studio of Cynthia Clayton) is co-program-
ming/writing/hosting "Music in the Making" on Classical 91.7
FM on Sunday evenings at 7:05 pm (also available online at
www.classical917.org). The program features student and fac-
ulty performances from the Moores School of Music and her co-
host, Joelle Zigman's school, Rice University's Shepherd School
of Music.
Henry Darragh's (studio of Noe Marmolejo) Quintet per-
formed at Cezanne on July 2. He will be performing at Eddie
V's - River Oaks on August 28 at 6-10 pm with Marcie Chapa
(BA `06, studio of Blake Wilkins).
From the oboe studio of Anne Leek - Brett Linski (MM, `10
and DMA student) made the finals in the national audition for
English Horn for the Atlanta Symphony. Erin Tsai performed
with the Houston Symphony for the "Sounds like Fun" series
these past summer and is currently performing with the National
Orchestra of Taiwan.
