Motivation
Forecasting of flooding and drying on river banks and sea
shores is a numerically difficult task.
Applications:
To study the flooding on river banks and in coastal re-
gions.
To estimate the flood inundation and its effects due to a
Tsunami.
Aim
We aim to model the flooding and drying in shallow water
flows using a space-time discontinuous Galerkin (DG) method
since
