Course Objectives:
This course is an introductory course designed to familiarize the student with the basic
concepts of the broad field of Marketing. The course covers both the theoretical and
practical aspects of Marketing, and the profit and non-profit (e.g., government) sectors
of our economy. In support of this objective, students are expected to:
1. Develop a working knowledge of a family of general marketing theories, concepts
and methods;
2. Be able to apply this knowledge to practical problems in an informed and creative
manner.
