Abstract
This report describes the Game Oriented Rule Engine (GORE), a rule based
Artificial Intelligence (AI) engine for use in computer games. The reasons for
choosing to implement a rule-based solution for computer game AI are discussed
in detail. It also describes the aims of the project, the design considerations and
research carried out to understand the project, and the design and implementation
of the final system. It concludes with a critical evaluation of the system, as well as
ideas as to future work that could be done to enhance the system. There are exten-
sive sections on design and implementation, along with a User Manual showing
