In [1], Daba and Bell have used a random vectors model to investigate the statistical behavior of the
scattering crosssection, when the number of scatterers is small. Specifically, they have considered
the sum of n random vectors with lengths A i 's and angles F i 's. Using a phasor notation, the ith
vector can be represented by A j
i i
exp( )
F , where j = -1 . Thus, the abovementioned vector sum
can be written as A j
i i
i
n
