The dates of the Mock Visit are June 13, 14, & 15.
Center for Instructional Development & Research (CIDR)
Wayne Jacobson and Karen Freisem from CIDR, talked to the group about the services CIDR offers to the
College and CIDR's services related to ABET. CIDR consults on development of assessment plans, and does
program assessment to document student perceptions of their experiences in their undergraduate program.
CIDR's group program feedback session is an example of a continuous improvement method. The group
discussions provide feedback that can't be provided through course evaluations.
Karen suggested departments develop a process of informing students that the group program assessment is an
on-going project that needs their participation and uses their input to operate.
ACI presentation at the Spring Faculty meeting
The group gave Eve suggestions and topics for her presentation.
