Summer reading is optional. We want you to have a wonderful, relaxing summer so please only
choose a few books for reading in your spare time, hopefully on the beach or poolside.
We highly recommend two books:
- Bramble Bush: On Our Law and Its Study by Karl N. Llewellyn- a classic essay on the
law and law school
- A Civil Action by Jonathan Harr- the story of a recent environmental lawsuit
