Summary: EMAIL SUBJECT LINE: IMPORTANT! Matching A and B halves of Full Year Courses
Please remember that multi-year courses are made up of two halves. Each half may have more than
one component (e.g. lab, tutorial, seminar).
If you are registered in any one of these types of courses, you must:
1. Pick both the A half for the Fall Term and the B half for the Winter Term; and,
2. You must match section numbers for every component. For example, if you chose
PSYC 100A (Lecture section 001), you must also select PSYC 100B (Lecture Section 001).
The Office of the University Registrar is contacting students who have been identified as having these
problems to date. Every student, however, must review their timetable to ensure these rules are
followed in your course selection.
Failure to follow these rules may result in loss of academic credit and / or additional tuition charges due
to late registration changes.
Every student has the responsibility to make sure their course registrations are correct by September
23rd.
Tuition Fee Appeals will not be accepted for course registrations resulting from someone not using
SOLUS properly.
If you have questions, please contact us via e-mail at solus@queensu.ca or in person in Gordon Hall,
Room 125.
