Abstract
Several vision tasks rely upon the availability of sets of
correspondingfeatures among images. This paper presents
a method which, given some correspondingfeatures in two
stereo images, addresses the problem of matching them with
.featuresextractedfrom a second stereopair capturedfi-oma
distant viewpoint. Theproposed method is based on the as-
sumption that the viewed scene containstwoplanar surfaces
and exploits geometric constraints that are imposed by the
existence of theseplanes topredict the location of imagefea-
tures in the second stereopair. The resultingscheme handles
