Course outline. This semester, we will cover Chapters 14­17 of Calculus, Early Transcendentals (W.H.
Freeman and Company, 2008), by J. Rogawski, roughly by the following schedule:
Chapter 14: Differentiation in Several Variables 4 weeks
Chapter 15: Multiple Integration 4 weeks
Chapter 16: Line and Surface Integrals 3 weeks
Chapter 17: Fundamental Theorems of Vector Analysis 3 weeks
Homework. Homework assignments will be due approximately once a week. I will be using the WeBWorK
system for online submission and grading of homework. Feel free to work together with other students on
