Course catalog description:
4 cr, 4 cl hrs. Prerequisite: MATH 131 passed with grade C- or better. Continuation of
Math 131. Transcendental functions, techniques of integration, polar coordinates, infinite
series, and applications. NMCCNS Math 1623: General education area III.
Textbook: University Calculus by Hass, Weir, and Thomas. Publisher: Pearson, 2007.
Course content: Chapters 6, 7, 8, 9, and Complex Numbers.
Graded assignments: The final exam, tests, homeworks, and quizzes.
· Homework assignments and quiz/test solution keys will be posted on the course webpage.
· Announced quizzes will be given about once a week.
· There will be three tests during the semester and the comprehensive final exam.
