Summary: Joe Crookham
President and principal owner of Musco Lighting, Joe Crookham
is a long-time advocate of safe, energy-efficient, and
environmentally responsible lighting.
Crookham, who began his college career as a physics major,
holds an undergraduate and M.B.A. degree from the University
of Iowa and a law degree from Drake University.
Mr. Crookham's current volunteer efforts include serving as a
trustee on The Daily Family Trust and the Little League Baseball
Foundation Board. He is Treasurer of the Mahaska County
Recreation Foundation. He also serves as Chair of the William
Penn University board of trustees and as a board member of the Communication Research
Institute of William Penn University.
In 2006, Crookham was voted Citizen of the Year in Oskaloosa. He was nominated for this
award for his continued involvement in the community, leadership in renewal and sustainability,
and investment in the community. In 2007, he was awarded the Little League Baseball and
Softball President's Award for his initiative and development of the A Safety Awareness
Program and continuing support of the Little League program as a Little League Foundation
trustee and corporate sponsor. The ASAP program is unparalleled in its attention to the health
and safety of its participants.
