hanks for taking the time to read The Citizen. This
issue features Professor Han S. Park, University
Professor of International Affairs and Director of
our Center for the Study of Global Issues (Globis). He has
been a faculty member at the University of Georgia since
1970. Over a period of nearly four decades he has been a
leader working to improve North Korea's relationships with
South Korea and the United States. As an expert analyst,
he has appeared regularly on CNN International and ABC
News, and has been interviewed by and contributed op-ed
pieces to the print media world-wide. He has earned the
confidence of the North Korean, South Korean and United
States governments and is among the very few individuals
