Introduction
· While working on the "HE Upgrade (Quartz Plate)
R&D" we started to plan a Quartz Plate Calorimeter
Prototype.
· First studies were Geant4 simulations of an
approximate model calorimeter.
· As the R&D results shaped the ideas we started to
design and simulate the prototype.
· We constructed and tested some layers of the
prototype at Fermilab M-Test area.
