Aaron Lington (BM, 98 Music Education, studio of Karen Wylie) was
awarded the 2010-11 California Music Educators Association Jazz Edu-
cator of the Year.
The 2009 Immanuel and Helen Olshan Texas Music Festival is featured
in the story entitled The Music Man in Psychology Today online. Brent
Clanton, radio executive and host of CBS Radio's Talk650/KIKK-AM
in Houston, fulfilled a boyhood dream, using his father's baton to con-
duct the orchestra's performance of the National Anthem. The full story
