ENERGY & SPECTRUM
OF PLANAR HONEYCOMB GRAPHS

ABSTRACT
The planar honeycomb graphs consist of equal regular
hexagons. Using the concept of He-matrix corresponding to
characteristic/dual graph of honeycomb graph, we present
various properties of spectrum which include lower and
upper bounds.
Main focus of the presentation is to highlight the
relationship between the eigenvalues and energy of a
honeycomb graph and its structure such as the number of
triangles, pairs of pendant vertices, concatenation,
coalescence, etc.
