Abstract
The –oecalculus is a refinement of the –calculus where substitu
tions are manipulated explicitly. The –oecalculus provides a setting
for studying the theory of substitutions, with pleasant mathematical
properties. It is also a useful bridge between the classical –calculus
and concrete implementations.
