1. Implement RACE ­ Call the Emergency Operator at 4-2012.
2. Minimize the demand for oxygen without patient compromise.
3. Use oxygen E-cylinders for low oxygen needs and bag ventilated patients
using E-cylinders.
4. Identify oxygen zone valve for the affected rooms/areas.
5. Turn off the flow of oxygen at the zone valve if the oxygen cannot be
turned off at the wall.
