The University of Georgia
The University of Georgia invites applications and nominations for the position of Director of Institutional
Research. This position reports to the Associate Provost for Academic Planning and will support the
University's efforts in utilizing institutional research data for the purpose of attaining the University's goals
of scholarship, research, instruction, and public service and outreach. The Office of Institutional Research
is responsible for the collection, organization, maintenance, and analysis of institutional and other data to
support institutional management, operations, decision-making, and planning functions.
The Director of Institutional Research is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the office by
managing a professional staff of 14 full-time, part-time, and student workers and is responsible for a budget
of over one million dollars. The Director will work with a wide range of constituencies, including the senior
administration and faculty of the University, committees of the university council, and senior administrators of
