Description of Nutrition Science
This major is designed to provide basic training in nutrition and related sciences. Students interested in research, college
teaching, or administrative positions in nutrition will be prepared for graduate study with this major. Selection of
appropriate electives permits adaptation of this major to the student's primary interest area. This major is an excellent
preparation for entry into the various fields of medicine.
