COURSE DESCRIPTION: This is the continuation of MATH 235, a one semester course of
calculus covering integration techniques, sequences and series, and applications. We will cover 6.5
and Chapters 7, 8, 10 and 11 of the text. Prerequisites are C or better in MATH 235 or in an
equivalent course.
TEXT: Calculus, One and Several Variables, Salas et. al. Ninth edition
CALCULATORS: For quizzes and exams, you may use a simple scientific calculator that is not
programable and does not store formulas. You may use any calculator or computer to assist you
in understanding the material and doing the homework.
GRADING: The grading will be assigned on a 550 point scale:
A: 495-550
B: 440-494
C: 385-439
D: 330-384
