Information for Employers
Our Mission
The Engineering Cooperative Education Program (Co-op) encourages students to explore the real world of
engineering through Internship and Co-op positions. Co-op links qualified, interested students with
employers to fill engineering positions.
What is Co-op?
Co-op assignments typically last for three to six months and are paid, full-time engineering positions.
Through Co-op, employers are connected with qualified engineering applicants and have the opportunity to
recruit, evaluate, and train potential employees. Students earn credit toward their degree in addition to
maintaining full-time student status while gaining work experience.
Services Available to Employers
Access to recruiting engineering students throughout the year via a free web based recruitment
program, employer information sessions and panels, and career fairs
Engineering student resume books
Connections to a diverse engineering student body including underrepresented minorities, females,
and Engineering student society groups
On-campus interview room privileges
