Williamstown, Mass.- The Williams College Museum of Art (WCMA) presents the annual
Fulkerson lecture: "Emerging World Cultural Leadership from the Gulf Questions and
Issues," presented by Roger Mandle, on Thursday, April 28 at 7:30 pm at the Brooks-
Rogers Recital Hall on the Williams College campus. This event, funded by the Fulkerson
Fund for Leadership in the Arts, is free and open to the public.
Roger Mandle, Williams College Class of '63, will deliver a lecture on the trend of rising
cultural and artistic centers in the Middle East. Mandle recently moved to the capital city of
Doha to explore his interest in cross-cultural issues in the arts. Mandle assumed leadership
