Abstract
We describe the design, execution and results of an em

and technique to facilitate software test result checking. The
study was aimed at finding deficiencies in the technology it
self and in the methods we used to train users in the tech
nology. We identify several such deficiencies, and suggest
remedies for the technology.
Keywords: Testing, test oracles, test result checking,
