Summary: Educational Psychology (EPSY): Doctoral Student Tuition Fellowship (DSTF) Criteria
To be considered eligible for a DSTF:
1. Students must be enrolled full-time in one of the department's Ph.D. programs during the period of
the fellowship
2. Students must be devoting full time effort to a PhD (or in approved cases, a terminal degree
program) degree program (at least 9 hrs fall/spring or 6 hrs summer) for a PhD
Related Priority Guidelines:
higher priority given to students in a PhD program
higher priority given to students in first/second year of their program
lowest priority given to students in an MEd program
3. Students must show adequate progress in their pursuit of a PhD. (or approved terminal degree)
based on results of the annual review conducted by program faculty in the spring (does not apply to
incoming students)
Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better in their degree program
Students must show satisfactory progress in degree program as defined by college, department,
or program
Related Priority Guidelines:
higher priority given to students with superior academic standing /performance (EPSY)
higher priority given to students with demonstrated scholarship productivity
(presentations, publications, etc.)
