Summary: Company Profile
Mobileye is the leading provider of automated driver assistance technologies to the automotive industry.
Founded in 1999, the company has established itself as the leader in vision systems for intelligent
transportation systems (ITS), and has gained recognition from the leading automotive companies
worldwide.
Mobileye's mission is to develop vision systems for accident reduction and driver assistance. These
systems work as a "third" eye for the driver. Applications support the driver in performing several routine
driving tasks (e.g., distance keeping, adaptive cruise control) and provide timely warnings (e.g., lane
departure warning, forward collision warning) in dangerous situations.
Mobileye is scheduled to provide its technology in six production platforms in 2007 (start of production)
with a major US and two leading European car manufacturers. Additional OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers have
Mobileye evaluation systems installed in vehicles for advanced development and research programs with
an additional number of production intent agreements already in place.
Mobileye is distinguished in the market by 3 key technical highlights:
1. Monocular approach - the ability to perform obstacle detection, range and relative speed
measurement with a single camera.
2. A unique range of vision based DAS applications.
3. The EyeQTM vision-system-on a chip.
EyeQTM, Mobileye's ASIC implementation of its vision algorithms, is a complete vision system on a chip
with the equivalent computing power (for this type of application) of two powerful Pentium computers
