COURSE OVERVIEW AND OBJECTIVES
The course emphasizes the philosophy of auditing and its importance in the acceptance of
financial statements by the user community. Areas covered will include audits,
responsibilities of auditors and objectives of independent audit.
PRE/CO REQUISITES
Students in BUS 386 must have a thorough knowledge of the material covered in
STAT 100 and BUS 385. BUS 385 can be taken concurrently with BUS 386.
