a community newsletter for our neighbors According to UW College of Education Elementary Program

Summary: a community newsletter for our neighbors
According to UW College of Education Elementary Program
Coordinator Karen Harris, teacher candidates learn a lot from their
time spent in these highly diverse classrooms. In fact, Harris said,
teacher candidates have said that because of their experiences,
"they're much more able to meet the needs of all elementary
students in our schools."
And principals at the partner schools were unanimous -- the visits
have a positive impact on teachers and students in their school.
One principal echoed this sentiment, "We educate students better
when we do it together."
