Charmonium properties in the quark-gluon plasma

We present results for charmonium correlators and spectral functions in 2-flavour QCD on
anisotropic lattices. Our results indicate that the S-waves (J/ and c) survive up to temper-
atures close to 2Tc, while the P-waves (c0 and c1) melt away below 1.2Tc.

The properties of charmonium in the quarkgluon plasma is an issue of long-standing interest,
