4 Engineering Sustainable Systems Program
Engineering students have a new option: a dual-degree program
that's the first of its kind in the nation. Social, environmental, and
economic sustainability are the focus of the ESS program, now
offered through the College of Engineering.
5 New Ground Robotics Research Center
Supported by a grant from the U.S. Army, the GRRC will establish
southeastern Michigan as an important center of activity in the
rapidly developing area of unmanned ground vehicles and robotics.
6 ME Faculty Receive Funding to Stimulate
State's Economy
ME faculty-led teams have received nearly $4 million from the 21st
Century Jobs Fund, which is helping to diversity Michigan's economy
