Summary: DIRECTIONS TO 1222 JEFFERSON PARK AVENUE, HIS DEPARTMENT
From I-64
· Take Exit 118B and follow the sign to the University of Virginia.
· Proceed on U.S. 29 North, and take the U.S. 29 North Business exit.
· Turn right onto Fontaine Avenue after coming off the ramp.
· Follow signs to the UVa Medical Center.
· At the traffic light, Fontaine Avenue becomes Jefferson Park Avenue. Continue on
Jefferson Park Avenue as it bears to the right.
· Follow the signs to the Medical Center/University Hospital.
· Proceed through the stop light at Hospital Drive.
· Proceed through the stoplight at Lee Street.
· Proceed under the Rail Road trestle.
· Turn right into 1222 Jefferson Park Avenue (before the stoplight).
· Go to the gated parking lot and obtain a ticket.
· Enter the main entrance, the HIS Reception area is located to the right, down the
hall on the left.
From the North
· Take U.S. 29 South. Upon reaching Charlottesville, go past the U.S. 250 Bypass
and remain on 29 South.
· Remain on 29 South Business (Emmet Street) and continue past the intersection of
