Chris Klein
Chris Klein is CEO of Fortune Brands Home and Security
(NYSE: FBHS). The Company is comprised of five operating
divisions: Moen Faucets (#1 faucet in North America, #3 western
faucet in China); Master Brand Cabinets (#1 Cabinet Company
in North American); Simonton Windows (leading US vinyl
window company), Therma Tru Doors (leading US exterior door
company), Master Lock padlocks (#1 padlock in the world) and
Waterloo tool storage (including the Craftsman tool chests at
Sears). The Company has sales of approximately $3.2 billion,
with over 17,000 employees across the USA, Mexico, Canada,
Europe and China.
Chris joined Fortune Brands in April 2003 as Senior Vice President Strategy and Corporate
Development. Chris managed all mergers and acquisitions activity, corporate strategy
development, capital allocation and human resources. During this period Chris worked with the
CEO and the Board to refine the company's strategy and led 18 acquisitions and divestitures
totaling over $10 billion.
Since taking over the Home and Security business in 2009, Chris and his team have grown the
