Honors Students 2010-2011
Katherine and Darren Ash established the Ash Service Award to help cultivate and support a
culture of community service within the UGA Honors Program. Awards will go to rising
fourth-year Honors students who have demonstrated a serious and sustained commitment to
service--whether it be service to the campus community, the Athens community, or the
national/international community.
To be eligible you must be a rising fourth-year Honors student, planning to graduate in spring
2011. Award recipients will be recognized and asked to serve as community service leaders
throughout their senior year, beginning with the Honors Program Convocation in August 2010
and culminating with the Honors Program Banquet in April 2011, when the awardees will be
given a $1,000 stipend.
