Hank Levy, faculty coordinator of Allen Center design and construction; Paul Allen; David Notkin,
CSE chair; and Ed Lazowska, past CSE chair and faculty leader for the Allen Center campaign
The doors officially opened on Octo-
ber 9, the visitors streamed in, their
eyes widened, and many exclaimed
"Wow!" No words of praise meant
more, however, than the one from
Paul G. Allen -- "Stunning!"
Clearly the building design had
achieved its goals -- a great facility
