1) Name of Recognition & Reward Program: Honoring Separating/Retiring Employees Award
2) Goal/Objective: Honor and recognize the achievements and contributions of employees who are
separating from the institution.
3) Business Reason(s) for Using Program: Encourage managers and continuing employees to recognize
and congratulate separating employees for their contributions. Inspire continuing employees to be
conscientious employees who, in turn, will be recognized by their peers upon their own
separation/retirement.
4) Nomination Process, if applicable: Not applicable.
5) Criteria to Be Used to Differentiate Levels of Awards:
Level 1:
- 2-5 years of service (award flexible to the cap; no leave days will be awarded).
Level 2:
- More than 5 years up to 10 years of service (award flexible to the cap; no leave days will be
awarded).
Level 3:
- More than 10 years of service (award flexible to the cap; no leave days will be awarded).
