On March 30-31, John Snyder presented a paper,
"Pseudo-Odo's Musicae artis disciplina: Questions of
Content, Transmission, and Influence," at a joint meeting
of the Rocky Mountain Society for Music Theory, the
Rocky Mountain Chapter of the American Musicological
Society, and the Southwest Chapter of the Society for
Ethnomusicology at Arizona State University in Tempe.
On March 29th
, Robert Brownlee was a featured
performer on the final recital of the Lenten Concerts Series
of St. Paul's Methodist Church in Houston, Texas. Mr.
Brownlee recently gave a demonstration lecture on the
piano music of Debussy and Ravel for the Conroe Music
Teachers Association where he has been invited to return
for an additional session next year.
Myron D. Brown (studio of Ruth Tomfohrde) has been
accepted into the Doctoral Program in Piano Performance
at the Cincinnati Conservatory. In addition, he has been
