Summary: News & Notes September 17, 2007
Franz Anton Krager conducted seven concert performances
with the Grosseto Symphony Orchestra based in Tuscany,
Italy this past August. Five of the seven concerts were
performed as part of important European music festivals in
Italy and included the Festival Lago di Como at Lake Como,
Festival Giovedi a Teatro at Lake Garda, All Around Jazz
Festival at Lake Maggiore, Festival Sinfonico in Massa, and
the Festival Scarlino Castello in Scarlino. The program
included the premieres of two new "big band" arrangements
for symphony orchestra by Robert Nelson.
