sheet. You may also use a calculator. There are five
sections on this test each of which has three problems.
Hand in only one problem from each section. The test
is graded out of 100 points - be sure the problems you
pick total enough to obtain the grade you would like.
1 Review of Sequences and Series
Problem 1 15 pts Determine if the following sequence
converges or diverges:
n Sin(n)
n2 + 4
: n = 1, 2, 3, . . .
Problem 2 20pts Using Taylor's theorem, find the Tay-
lor series for Sin(x) at c = 3
