Summary: News & Notes April 2, 2007
Marcus Maroney composed the score for the UH
School of Theatre's presentation of "Death of a
Salesman", directed by Sidney Berger.
Performances are April 6th
and 7th
at 8 p.m. in the
UH Lyndall Finley Wortham Theatre.
In May, Jennifer Mishra will present research
from her UH sight reading studies to the Centre
for Research in the Arts, Social Science and
Humanities at the University of Cambridge in
Cambridge, England.
Barbara Rose Lange has been awarded a
Fulbright grant for research in Austria and
Hungary during fall 2007. Her project, "Local
Fusions: Young Adult Musicians in an Integrating
Central Europe", focuses on east-central European
folk music in the post-socialist era.
