Summary: Updated 10/13/2011
Rogelio Rebolledo
After receiving his MBA from Iowa, Rogelio Rebolledo began his
professional career with Procter and Gamble in Cincinnati. In
1976, he accepted a job with a small but relatively new PepsiCo
salty snack company in Mexico, Sabritas, to become its
marketing director.
In his years with Sabritas, he served as Marketing Director, SBU
Director and National Commercial Vice President. In 1982, he
transferred to Brazil as President of the PepsiCo Foods
International affiliate. He returned to Sabritas in 1984 as
Executive Vice President and was promoted to President in
1986. During that period, Robolledo was instrumental in
developing additional businesses for Sabritas including two
acquisition efforts.
In 1993, he was given the assignment to jump-start the scale of PepsiCo Foods International's
(PFI) presence in Latin America. Rebolledo expanded the geographical footprint from four
countries (Mexico, Puerto Rico, Brazil, and Chile) in late 1992 to 15 countries by 1998.
Rebolledo's responsibilities expanded in late 1996 when the Asia and Australia salty snack
systems were added to his business portfolio.
