Intrigued by the mysteries of cell biology
Professor Evangelos Marinos has fond memories of his years at
Southampton. Studying for a PhD in Biology was challenging and
rewarding, but he also grew to love the English countryside. "I liked the
green fields and the landscapes, both in Hampshire and further afield,"
he explains. "During my studies, I travelled to Scotland and the Midlands
