1 Introduction
This note provides a mechanically constructed derivation of a set of formulas that
cover all the the inde nite integrals of rational algebraic expressions (i.e. the
totality of Chapter 2.1) in \Gradshteyn and Ryzhik" 1]. We refer to this as G&R.
They consist of the following, where k m and n are integers, and interest is focused
on m and/or n negative.
