Description of Consumer Journalism
The Consumer Journalism major combines consumer interests with the fields of advertising, public relations, newspapers,
and telecommunications. Students combine Family and Consumer Sciences Coursework with classes from the Grady
College of Journalism and Mass Communication. This major prepares graduates for employment within government and
private sector areas.
