Abstract.--Growth and total mortality data for largemouth bass populations in Florida waters
was reviewed and a simulation model was used to assess potential benefits of harvest
restrictions. Mean total length (TL)-at-age across 32 populations was TL = 626 (1 e0.246 [age +
0.139]
) for females and TL = 419 (1 e0.435 [age + 0.107]
