DepartmentofResearchandInnovation
The Department of Research & Innovation (DRI) at Swansea University
supports the development of research, innovation, commercialisation,
entrepreneurship and employability across the university, through the
support, administration, promotion and development of a wide variety
of externally funded programmes. These programmes help to develop
the skills, experience and knowledge of university students, staff and
external organisations; a few of which are highlighted below.
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) is one of the UK's leading programmes,
helping businesses to improve their competitiveness and productivity through
the better use of knowledge, technology and skills that reside within the UK
knowledge base.
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships involve the forming of a partnership between
a company and a university that enables the company to access skills and
expertise for development.
