Sustainable Energy Scheme Mentor
Job description
Department: Student Administration and Registry
Location: Both on-campus and in-school activities to be advised by
the UK Student Recruitment and Outreach Team
Job title: Engineering Scheme Mentor
Responsible to: UK Student Recruitment and Outreach Team
Payment and benefits: £100 overall for e-mentoring 4 mentees (based on a rate of
£6.42 per hour this amounts an average of 30 minutes of e-
mentoring per week). £6.42 per hour for all face to face
mentoring and travel time, by agreement in advance.
Duration: Activities will be scheduled based on the availability and
agreement between the Sustainable Energy Scheme Mentor
and the UK Student Recruitment and Outreach Team during
the academic year 2009/10
Overall Purpose of Job:
· To support the UK Student Recruitment and Outreach Team and the School of Engineering
Sciences in the implementation of the University of Southampton Sustainable Energy Scheme
· To participate in both on and off campus mentoring activities throughout the scheme.
