ABSTRACT
In coalition formation, often the utility associated
with completion of a task changes over time. One
common class of environments discounts utility in each
time step of the coalition formation procedure. We
develop a strategy for decision making in the so called
shrinking pie environment. Coalitions are often
required for multi-agent collaboration. In this paper,
we consider tasks that can only be completed with the
combined efforts of multiple agents. These agents use
