Ram Seshadri is a Professor in the Materials Department and in the Department
of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Prior to starting at UCSB, Ram was an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute
of Science, Bangalore (1999­2002). Ram is interested in the broad problem of
structure­morphology­property relations in crystalline inorganic compounds,
