Alzheimer's is a pivotal public health battle and aggressive action is needed to confront this emerging epidemic.
Representative Davis scheduled this hearing to receive updated information and recommendations for ensuring that
Illinois will be able to respond to the dramatic rise in the numbers of people who will be affected. We must renew our
commitment to Review, Renew and Re-prioritize our framework of programs and services to ensure that Illinois is
capable of meeting the challenge of this public health problem and all those who are, and will be, impacted every day.
This hearing is open to the public and testimony will be provided to the Health and Healthcare Disparities Committee, a
standing committee of the Illinois House of Representatives.
