The analysis of nonlinear dynamics of neurons, neural networks and neural systems
showed an impressive progress in the past decades, and it holds the promise of
providing a deep and thorough understanding of these complex biological systems.
Studying nonlinear, dynamical aspects of information processing and memory in
biological and computational neural systems has attracted a lot of attention in
